MUKAMAS 2022 – International Puppet Theatre Festival was organized for the 12th time from 14 to 18 September in Tampere. The versatile programme of the event included visual puppet shows for all ages. The overall occupancy rate of the festival’s performances was as much as 90 percent.
MUKAMAS 2022 – International Puppet Theatre Festival is celebrated this week on 14–18 September. Due to the corona situation, the festival could not be organized in the 40th anniversary of Teatteri Mukamas in 2020. Finally, we can enjoy the magic of international puppet theatre together!
MUKAMAS 2022 festival programme has a rich and impressive range of performances for adults. The shows vividly discuss serious topics, such as femininity in this time, corporeality, identity, relationship, intergenerationalism and memories.
As usual, the festival features a wide range of national and international children’s performances. International children’s shows include colours of imagination, strong individuals and warm togetherness. Finnish shows for the whole family offer music, funny animal friends, complex situations, circus and shared adventures.
Teatteri Mukamas’ 12th International Puppet Theatre Festival MUKAMAS 2022 is finally here!
