Mielialakuvia – Stämningsbilder

Sedan du gått
stod jag ännu länge kvar.
Inte sorgsen,
bara förundrad
över att livet
kan vara vackert.

Kun olit mennyt
jäin seisomaan vielä pitkäksi aikaa.
En surullisena.
vain ihmetellen
kuinka kaunista elämä voi olla.

-Gunvor Grahn-

Haihara Puppet Theatre’s performance for adults is based on two poetry books by the theatre’s founder Gunvor Grahn (1907-1982), Den röda stämpeln 1931 and Den blåa Vallmon 1948.

The intense performance features poems in both Finnish and Swedish.

Haiharan Nukketeatteri is Finland’s oldest continuously operating puppet theatre, founded in Tampere in 1969 by Gunvor Ekroos and Anneli Kuronen. The theatre is located in the atmospheric surroundings of the Haihara Art Centre in Kaukajärvi and offers performances and events for children and families.
