Da Da Sur
Can a clothespin be a bird? Can a guy who can cry and laugh be born from a box? Of course!
Da Da Sur is a wonderful journey into the subconscious and creativity. On stage, familiar objects change shape and soar into the sky as birds or come to life from animations. Even adults’ blood pressure and stress levels drop during this gently flowing performance. Da Da Sur’s theme tune is the most pleasant earworm in the world, which plays in the mind long after the performance is over.
Da Da Sur is a nonverbal and experiential dive into the world of dadaism and surrealism using object theater. The performance is suitable for children and adults.
The performance is open to all audiences regardless of their native language. At the end of the performance, viewers can get to know the sets and objects in the performance in more detail and try them out for themselves!
Nukketeatteri Sampo is a professional puppet theatre based in Helsinki, founded in 1977. Its performances combine visual puppet theatre with live music, which is always an integral part of the productions.
