MUKAMAS 2022 – International Puppet Theatre Festival was organized for the 12th time from 14 to 18 September in Tampere. The versatile programme of the event included visual puppet shows for all ages. The overall occupancy rate of the festival’s performances was as much as 90 percent.
Finland’s largest and most significant puppet theatre event brought together 4 international and 8 national performing groups. All in all, 27 events were organized during the five days, which were visited by a total of 1317 visitors.
The most popular show in the children’s programme was Teatteri Hevosenkenkä’s Koirakampaamo Villa Koiranen, which saw a total of 177 spectators in two shows. The gem of the adult programme was the show Romance by Natalia Sakowicz from Poland, which was seen by 105 viewers.
