Plastic Rapids – workshop for children

Plastic Rapids is an art workshop where we build underwater puppets from plastic waste. Used juice bottles, cans, plastic wrappers and plastic bottle transform easily into a gorgeous school of fish or a family of turtles. The workshop is aimed at people of all ages, although the youngest will need help from an adult to use the hot glue. The workshop is open non-stop, so you can come build at any time during the opening hours. You can also bring a piece of trash that fits your project from home with you.

The workshop instructor is puppet artist Henrika Nieminen.
