Session Bulgakov

“Puppet-object brainstorming”

Session Bulgakov shakes a classic novel Satan arrives in Moscow from its dusts. The trio, formed by an actor, animator and musician, presents scenes of the novel at a dynamic pace, taking the audience as eyewitnesses. In the playful stream of consciousness including abstract images, sounds, poetic impressions and objects, we consider e.g. part of the individual in the modern world.

Bulgakov’s fleshy subject matters come alive before our eyes, sometimes as object theatre, sometimes as a sheer concert. Drama, burlesque and surprising twists will occur as this irresistible rhythm group take the stage!
