Kasvokkain

“It’s never too late to grow up into playing with dolls.”

Kasvokkain object theatre monologue combines puppet theatre and the world of objects, film and art characters, and faces that make fun at our expense. Jesus and Stalin also appear in the story, as do Greta Garbo and Maria Callas – not to mention Gogol’s Nose and a dentist specialising in chipped teeth. Since the creator loves playing with dolls and singing, here we do both. The puppet in the show is the handiwork of Erja Mikkola, Finland’s leading puppet maker.
